Perhentian Besar on a Budget

Budget accommodation at Perhentian Besar is found south of Coral view. Among the established hostels in Mama's Chalets & Restaurant with basic chalets and dive shop. The nearby Watercolours Resort (tel:010-9810930) also has a dive centre. There is more accommodation on Teluk Dalam, the southern beach over the headland - get off at the jetty at lbi Chalets and walk around. Among operations here are the pretty Flora Bay, tel : 09-6977266, with chalets, some air-conditioned, money changing, 20 hours of electricity a day, dive shop.
